Jet lag has destroyed me…along with some nasty germs making me sick for my first day back at work. Sigh.
On the plus side, I feel pretty good despite all of this. And, fortunately, I only have a three day work week ahead as Easter weekend means a glorious four day weekend ahead.
The next week will be all about getting back into a proper routine. Including fitness (hello Manitoba Half Marathon…I see you lurking in the distance…I know Father’s day is only three months away), eating (more fruit and veg and general meal prep, less convenience food) and general house hold chores (my sh!t is EVERYWHERE right now because I have had trouble finding stuff that I so cleverly put away before I left).
I’m hoping that, by the time I return to work next week, I will feel ready to rock n roll and not bedraggled and sick. A girl can hope, right?
