What a fast and exhausting few weeks it has been. Between going to Minneapolis to see Springsteen and then heading out to Australia approximately 24 hours after driving home from Springsteen, well, I’m toast…though, sadly, sleep has been nearly impossible since I got home from Aus…darn jet lag. I am hoping tonight will be the magical night where I get to get a full, uninterrupted night’s sleep and can sleep until my body wakes up rather than an alarm…Can’t thing of a better way to spend my last day off before going back to work.
Not only will be back to reality this week, but I will also be back to fitness. My running sorta took a bit of an unanticipated hiatus while I was on vacay. Between exhaustion, heat and babies, running sorta took a bit of a back seat. I did manage to sneak in about three extremely hot and hilly runs…but that’s about it.
But, provided I can get myself a decent sleep and some magical spurt of energy, I hope tomorrow will be the official start of training for the Manitoba Half and return to my decluttering for lent challenge….and maybe some cleaning and laundry to boot!
In the meantime, here is a few fun photo from my travels:
