  • Feeling aimless in terms of workouts and my legs still feel like crap, which isn’t making me feel all that motivated to workout.
  •  Orange
  • still not feeling the urge or excitement to run.

Weds

11/05

  •  3.5 miles
  • .25 w/u and cool down
  • No hernia exerices or 30/30/30 as I had an evening commitment
  •  Orange
  • Felt tired (i’m fighting an illness) and I felt hernia pain, but it wasn’t enough to make me stop.

Thurs

11/06

  • 4 miles (ran slower to warm up
  • 8::45 avg pace
  • hernia exercises and 30/30/30
  •  Green for the run–I felt only faint twinges of pain while running!  I was blown away
  • Orange for the hernia exercises–they hurt, but strangely, after I finished, my hernia didn’t hurt at all like it normally does for the next number of hours.  Progress. 🙂

Fri

11/07

  •  rest day- driving to Fargo

11/08

  •  walked around a TON around Minneapolis
  • shin splints developed–no run.

Sun

11/09

  •  5 miles at an 8:08 pace
  •  surprisingly green
  • it hurt a bit but nothing like in the past.

Mon

11/10

  •  Nothing–hair raising ride home made working out impossible.

Tues

11/11

  • Nothing gym was closed, too slippery to run outside.

Highlight(s) of the Week

  • my fast 5 miler in the hotel in Minneapolis…esp. since there was no pain.

Goal(s) Moving Forward

  • Consistency.  Was a brutal week with my trip ruining my running.
