I have been without Internet for the better part of the last 4 days…and apparently I missed stuff…
…like the announcement of the Pixie Dust Challenge!?!?!? Admittedly I was planning on doing Tink Half and 10K with one of my Run Clubbers, but I think the difficulty of getting registered just increased a bit. I hope we can both get in! I guess I’ll find out if I am in tomorrow…can’t even believe it’s already registration time. Yikes! Thank goodness I didn’t spend a ton of cash while on my weekend road trip!
What I did do a lot of, besides suffering through the hardest half marathon of my life, is eat. So. Many. Great. Restaurants. In. The. Twin. Cities.
I now have the most massive food baby, forcing my belly to protrude more than it normally does, but I’m ok with it. I had my fun with over indulging and now it is time to get back to that whole balanced eating thing a la #Chewsday.
I’m back to monitoring what I eat again, via Fitness Pal. I know that when I was doing it before I went away, it really kept me aware of what I was putting in my body. I didn’t get all crazy about it either though…I didn’t get anxious about putting in an extra serving of PB and toast or whatever, if I wanted it and technically I was over their prescribed calories….so I think I’m in good mental shape for using this as a tool to get my eating back into balance over the coming weeks.
