Headspace

  • feeling tired, due to some horrible sleep of late.  Must try to not fall off the healthy eating wagon as sleep deprivation always leads to poor eating choices for me.
  •  N/A – doctor’s orders.

Weds

  •  2.06 crappy miles – ran into a run club member and chatted a bit too long, losing my already low desire to run.  15 minute rule for the win!
  • strength training – upper body

Thurs

05/29

  •  nothing–massive migraine. Oy

Fri

05/30

  • 2.7 miles. Ugh.  Massive ripped off blister on my heel is causing me all sorts of pain.  It’s right where my sock hits, thus rubs off the bandaid and just gets all raw and enflamed.  Ouch.

Sat

  •  2 mile shake out to test out bandaids (still can’t find anything good) and to freshen my legs.

  • 5.01 miles, with 2 fast repeats
  • I have to brag–my splits were awesome:
  • Mile 1: 7:48/Mile 2: 6:53/Mile 3: 7:54/Mile 4: 6:56/ Mile 5: 8:20

  • Watching my run clubbers kick butt at the Commit to Get fit race.
