  • Did a pyramid, increasing speed every mile and then down again and it was surprisingly fun.

  •  3.04 easy miles outside at the park…a bit chilly but good.

  • 1 mile run/walk to help a friend calibrate her garmin

  • My long run not killing me.  That was huge.

    • Aw! Thank you! That is the loveliest compliment I have been given in awhile!

      I’m confident that you will get up to 10 miles – especially now that medical school is all done (Congrats btw!)!

      Oh and the speed part–it helps if you make it into a bit of a game…it actually turns the speed work into fun (yes, I know, it sounds weird, but it’s true, it can be fun).

      • The speed game is a great idea! I try to do interval sprints and found that helps my speed. But as long as I keep moving, regardless of the speed, I know I’m doing my body good. That motivates me :). And thank you! I start residency in June so I’ll quickly become busy again, but I’m looking forward to the break and some “me” time 🙂
