  • Massive running rut.  Hoping it will clear…fast.

  • Zero miles–had a fun night with one of my oldest friends.

  • 3.11 miles
  • 40 minutes of power walking

04/04

  •  Feeling sorry for myself–took a night off to sulk–was awesome!

Sat

04/05

  •  3.23 miles with my buddy Oliver
  • these were horrid, slow, uncomfortable miles.  If it wasn’t for Oliver, I would have quit at .25 of a mile

  •  3.16 miles (a 5K Race)
  • PR for the 5K at 25:26

Mon

04/07

  •  zero.  Work commitments and flying home did not make it possible to squeeze in a run.

Tues

04/08

  •  Exhausted from my late night home and had a previous engagement to see Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings-well worth missing a workout.

Highlight of the Week

  •  The PR…it was a highlight and a lowlight, if only because the difficulty in running it was a reflection of the lost weeks of training and it bummed me out.

Goal(s) Moving Forward

  •  Appreciate the fact that I am physically able to run, no matter how long this rut lasts.
