Week 12: better late than never

  • Scattered. Lots of happy, sad, exciting and annoying things in  my life right now and having all of them bounce around in my head is exhausting.
  •  life got in the way.  Gym on hold for the week.

Weds

03/19

  • 2 miles slow
  • run was interrupted by my win
  • some weights, but let’s be honest, I was thinking more about my win then weight training

Thurs

03/20

  • 3 miles slow – I am exhausted
  • the rest of my weights

Fri

03/21

  • 3 miles in 23:24 (not enough time for a longer workout so I just went hard for three short miles woo!)

  •  4 miles 33:31
  • Fighting a sore throat and maybe the onset of a cold-called it a day after the run.

Sun

03/23

  •  6.23 miles in 49.58 (maybe a PR in Toronto isn’t impossible after all)
  • weight training
  • stretch/foam roll/

  •  4 miles (33:33)
  • Run Club: 2.32 miles run/walk

Tues

  •  2.77 miles with Princess Lindsey!  Yay!

Highlight of the Week

  •  Sunday’s 10K which gave me some hope that the Toronto Yonge Street 10K might still hold a tiny PR possibility.

Goal(s) Moving Forward

  •  Start cooking again and take it a bit easy as I started to get shin splints on Monday
