Christmas Baking Project: Found!

Brr!  It’s currently minus 40 degrees with the windchill in Winnipeg–no matter which system of temperature you follow (be it C or F, as it is the exact same in both), it’s FREEZING!

Needless to say, I am going to do my best to stay inside this weekend and start my baking (despite the fact that I know I should be Christmas shopping).

I’m starting this weekend, mainly, because I found my Christmas baking project.  It’s these awesome cookies (minus the birds…maybe)!

Reindeer Cookies Cookies with Character

The woman who made these amazing cookies is Krista and is a former Disney animator!  I’m gobsmacked by how amazing these cookies look.  Granted, I don’t anticipate mine will look this perfect, but darn it, I am going to try.

Want to give it a try, too?  Click here for the tutorial on The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle blog.  Rest assured, I will be sharing the finished project–be it a complete success or utter failure! 🙂  Oh and the reason why I’m starting this early is the whole utter failure potential.  Fingers crossed. 😉

Do you have a fun Christmas baking project planned?  Share it in the comments.

Happy Hump Day!

  1. Adorable! I’m such a baby that I pretty much give up on venturing outside once the temperature drops below zero. Can you call the grocer to deliver your baking ingredients? 🙂

    • Yep, It’s a level of cold that is hard to describe. Your skin will freeze in minutes and it truly takes effort to even leave the house to go to work, nevermind going to the gym for a run. lol I am already looking forward to summer and I still have about 4.5 months of this type of weather left.
