Sorry to have been delinquent for awhile. I’ve been taking some time for R&R to get back on my feet after my whirlwind weeks. Happily, I got to go home this past weekend to watch the 101st Grey Cup. Even happier, my hometown team was playing, and happiest, they won!!! This is only their fourth championship win in history, and I have been lucky enough to see two of those games in person! Check out my favourite photos from the weekend, including a #tbt shot from the 2007 Championship in Toronto!
During my time off I read an (old) article about Pam Anderson, and she mentioned how much progress she makes when she focuses on one goal for 100 days. I started thinking about all the things that I want to accomplish – save money, purge my house of junk, eat and exercise better – and how much I could progress if I locked on to one target for 100 days. Having been home this week and loading up on mom’s pre-Christmas baking, I foreshadow that the holidays will be a tough time for me once again in terms of weight control and self control. Much as I can’t change the environment I will be in at Christmas-time, I CAN change my attitude and my actions. And so begins my first 100 day challenge!
Starting December 1, I’m going to log 100 consecutive days of at least 30 minutes of physical activity. I’ll give you a weekly update with photos and details, but I might need your help getting creative to mix up my choices and try some new stuff!
Have you ever done a 100 day challenge? How did it go? Let me know in the comments!
