Five for Friday

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today’s list is themed upon things I would much rather be doing today than being at work.  I still feel the residual effects of a stressed out October and work is sorta the last thing I want to do right now.

1. Run Disney’s Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  Given the theme of this blog, this can’t be a surprise.  I’m sure Princess Lindsey would be in agreement, too.  Plus it would be warm…and given how cold my office is, I would give anything to be warm.

2. Reading this while curled up on the couch with my electric blanket and a cup of hot coffee or tea.  Though I question whether or not I will like this book–especially since I already know the big climax, but as a staunch Bridget Lover from my early twenties, I feel it is a must read–even if it is only for closure.

3. I would like to be baking these, this, and these while drinking this.  I haven’t baked in ages and I miss it’s stress reduction and regenerative effects.

4. I would like to be spending time with people who mean a lot to me…my grandparents, my dad, my friends whom I don’t see as often as I would like and to finally meet two of my adopt-a-nieces who live far away and that I have only met through online technology.

5. I would like to be sitting in a chair at this lovely salon, drinking coffee from Parlour and having my hair done by my super talented hair stylist, Guy.

What would you rather be doing today?

Much luv,

Lisa

  1. Oooohhh, I’ll take a bourbon milkshake please.

I’d like to be getting a manicure right now and then falling right back to sleep cuz I’m exhausted and sore from working out.

Also, I’d like to shop. Duh.
